Bring a valid photo ID (Driver License, Passport)
Lotion the area to be tattooed at least 2 days before your session.
Get plenty of rest the night before. No heavy drinking.
Eat at least 1 hour before your tattoo appointment.
Drink plenty of water, and bring some with you.
Also, bring some chocolate or light snack for your blood sugar if you have a bigger piece, or if it’s your first time.
Dress appropriately or bring a change of clothes.
Bring headphones if you will need to entertain yourself.
You CANNOT be in open waters, in direct sunlight, or apply sunscreen until a tattoo is completely healed (2-3 weeks).
Also, sunburns must heal (a week after peeling) before the area can be tattooed.
Please plan accordingly!
Train: Take N or W to Ditmars Blvd

Leave bandage on for 2 hours. If it sticks onto the tattoo, wet the area with warm water then slide it off.
DO NOT cover again.
DO NOT scrub the area.
Wash the area gently with anti-bacterial/mild soap and water. Then pat dry with a clean paper towel.
Use a color-free, fragrance-free lotion (Lubriderm, Aveeno, Cetaphil, Aquaphor)
DO NOT use Bacitracin or Neosporin
Apply a small amount of lotion to the area, and wipe off any extra.
Avoid swimming/soaking the tattoo for 3 weeks.
DO NOT put in direct sunlight.
It will begin to peel in about a week, DO NOT pick the scabs. Ink can come out. Continue to wash it gently.
The tattoo will seem much lighter during this process. Give it time.
Healing time: 2-3 weeks
AFTER HEALING, sunscreen SPF70 or above will help keep your tattoo from fading too quickly over time.
Touch-ups valid up to 2 months after original tattoo date.
